In 1993, Lebanon celebrated its 50th anniversary of the independence.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Lebanon, Banque Du Liban has ordered the minting of this very special coin.

Available as a one ounce coin in 22 carat Gold, Sterling Silver and Bronze versions, these attractive and symbolic collectors' pieces reflect the pride of the Lebanese nation, just emerging from seventeen years of war.

Lebanese nationals, numismatists and collectors will be rightly proud to own this unique record of a key date in modern history.

These coins were made available for sale to the public since November, 1993.

(Coins are delivered in plastic protective cases. Attractive cedar wood display boxes to hold one or all three coins are also available. Coins are supplied with a certificate of authenticity from the Banque du Liban)

Banque du Liban has designed this memorial medal (75mm radius/Bronze). Medal was produced by Monnaie de Paris company.
